If you’re looking for just another City partner role with just another City firm, look away now.
But if you see something of yourself in what you’ve read so far, here’s more detail…
Foot Anstey has a large, growing Corporate team with strong credentials and an enviable national reputation.
We advise a wealth of international, national and regional clients from our four offices across the south and west of the UK. We’ve enjoyed significant growth in recent years (80% over the 5 years) both in the size of the team and the complexity of transactions. This is largely driven by Private Equity, where we have a deep specialism and a clear national differentiator.
Alongside Private Equity, we’re building compelling differentiators and achieving increasing market recognition across banking, restructuring, tax mainstream M&A and Corporate Finance. We’ve also won some industry awards.
Our current partners are focused on three differentiators: larger Corporates, Entrepreneurial Private Companies and Private Equity. Junior corporate lawyers are encouraged to work across all three areas whilst they develop their own practice plans.
We’re looking for senior Corporate lawyers with a growth mindset who can help us develop and take our differentiators to a larger audience. You could be a Partner already or looking for that next step up.
Either way, it’s a CV-changing chance to play a key role in building a nationally and internationally focused practice, acting for sophisticated clients, with the lifestyle benefits offered by living and working in some of the UK's most appealing locations.
Convince us you’re as ambitious, enterprising and collaborative as we are and we’ll give you the freedom and support to build your own platform, cultivate new client relationships and develop the talent of the future.
You may have a dedicated following; you definitely have the contacts and your own ideas around how you might build on our strengths and, with support, help us to evolve our offer.
We’re open minded about where you’re based but given our achievement-sharing culture, you will need to be visible at one of our key offices for Corporate: Bristol, Southampton, Plymouth or Exeter.
We appreciate you will have questions about our ethos, our business and where you fit in, so we’re not asking for unsolicited CVs. Rather, we’d like to talk to you, in confidence first.
